Initially Task Force 27 arrived on scene reporting a 4 story 'U' shaped center hallway apartment building with nothing showing. Fire crews investigated the building and found a laptop on fire in a unit. LAFD Hazmat crews are responding to secure and properly dispose of a lithium-ion battery. No extension of fire.   <description>[UPDATE] Jumper; INC#1368; 09:33PM; 333 N Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ St; MAP: &amp;lt;a href="https://bit.ly/3Pavki6" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&amp;gt;https://bit.ly/3Pavki6&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;; Downtown; Person threatening to jump off of an overpass to the 101 freeway below has been taken into custody and is being currently medically evaluated by LAFD paramedics and will be transported to a local area hospital..  LAFD, LAPD, LAPD SWAT and CHP on scene.  LAFD deployed rescue air cushions to both sides of the over pass and CHP closed all lanes of the 101 freeway in both directions during the duration of the incident.  Unknown medical condition of the patient.  Patient is a male, approximately 30 years of age. Rescue air cushions are deployed on both sides of the freeway. Additionally, CHP has both sides of the 101 freeway shut down to through traffic.  Report of a person threatening to jump off an overpass to the 101 freeway in downtown LA. LAFD, CHP and LAPD on scene.   <description>[UPDATE] Hiker Rescue; INC#1360; 05:12PM; Mulholland Dr; MAP: &amp;lt;a href="https://bit.ly/4cD55tJ" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&amp;gt;https://bit.ly/4cD55tJ&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;; Tarzana; LAFD ground units and LAFD Air Operations responded to a reported injured hiker on a fire road. Initial reports suggest a possible mountain biker with 4 non-LAFD personnel with patient.  LAFD Air Operations located an approximately 50 year old male with a lower extremity injury.  Condition of patient is unknown and unconfirmed at this time.  LAFD paramedics were lowered down from the LAFD Rescue Helicopter to the patient.  Patient was medically assessed and then prepared for a safe hoisting operation up into the LAFD Rescue Helicopter.
