The Central Bureau encompasses Downtown Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and the surrounding communities. Deputy Chief Richard Fields is the Central Bureau Commander, and manages the day-to-day operations of 22 fire stations and 645 personnel in Battalions 1, 2, and 11.

DOWNTOWN, LOS ANGELES - On April 28th, 2026 at 1716 hours in downtown Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, a man threatening to jump off of an overpass to the 101 freeway below is now safe after being taken into custody.

- Hollywood - In the early morning hours of January 4, 2026, fire erupted in a boarded-up two story Craftsman style house/business in the heart of Hollywood.
