Knockdown - Greater Alarm Fire; INC#1521; 10:05PM; 901 E New Dock St; ; #SanPedro; 68 LAFD Firefighters took just 46 minutes in defensive firefighting operations to extinguish heavy fire in a 100' x 100' open roofed metal-clad industrial building at "SA Recycling Terminal Island" ( https://www.sarecycling.com/yard/sa-recycling-terminal-island ) a metal recycling firm on Terminal Island, at least 200 yards from the waterline at the Port of Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. The burning materials appear to be metal scrap and other debris, apparently related to automobile recycling. No injury. No evacuation.
