LAFD High School Cadets Graduate from Valley Youth Fire Academy

Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ – The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ (LAFD) will host a graduation ceremony to mark the successful completion by more than 65 high school students of the annual autumn Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Valley Youth Fire Academy on Saturday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Drill Tower 81, 14355 Arminta St., Panorama City, 90731.

High school students from six Los ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Unified School District campuses (Panorama HS, James Monroe HS, Cleveland HS, Fulton HS, Northridge HS, and Van Nuys HS) participated in the eight-week academy designed to train students for a prospective career in fire and emergency services. The graduation ceremony will feature a practical skills demonstration by the cadets that will highlight the culmination of their training.
