Anticipating an approximately 1 hour overhaul operation. 1 patient unconfirmed age and gender was transported. Unknown medical condition and medical complaint at this time. TF75's initial size up 1 story single family dwelling with smoke showing. All occupants are outside and accounted for. Primary search clear. [Update] Structure Fire; INC#0348; 07:22AM; 3221 James M Wood Bl; ; Koreatown; Updated 18 displaced individuals. Red Cross notified. PIO Captain on scene for media. At 0820 AM James M Wood IC declared an official knockdown of the fire. E13 arrived on scene to find a 2 story garden style apartment with heavy smoke showing from the attic. LAFD units are in offensive mode. An emergency traffic alert via the radio was issued due to a compromised roof and partial roof collapse. No injuries were reported, Red Cross notified, LADOT notified, LABS notified, LADWP notified and the Southern California Gas Company notified. Firefighters accessed a small fire in the attic from the interior and coordinated salvage operations below the fire on the ground floor. Knockdown declared in 17 minutes with first-arriving companies on scene.
